Otahuhu

Otahuhu
One of the oldest suburbs in South Auckland . Until amalgamation with Auckland City in the 1990's it was an independent borough. Otahuhu is located at the narrowest point on the Isthmus of Auckland, with the Manukau harbour on one side and the Tamaki Estuary on the other. It is an industrial suburb badly effected by the closure of its freezing works.
